I don't believe in any of it, but I do appreciate the history and family stories that go with the gravestones and old buildings. However, I'm not so crazy about these new structures that look terrible! My high school in Wisconsin was unique and incredible. It was one of the coolest buildings in my town and it always stood out from the rest of schools around our area and the state. Then, they destroyed the building and put up this shanty that they now call a high school. It's UGLY! And in place of my high school now, there are condos. Ridiculous!Rohrerbothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02136631378931478644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8001048458281112.post-5479466955858703192013-11-26T07:46:00.723-06:002013-11-26T07:46:00.723-06:00I love all the old churches like that. Homely indeed. But the original is charming and lovely. That happens a lot here too, around Portland Oregon. My town of Hillsboro was once a farming town, but is now a suburb full of sprawl. There are a few ugly churches like this. But there are many old wonderful ones. I might post some pics one of these days. I love your new header, btw! :DMaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16005482538480063372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8001048458281112.post-49182401809894368612013-11-24T16:28:08.553-06:002013-11-24T16:28:08.553-06:00the new place has no charm - just sprawl. you shou...the new place has no charm - just sprawl. you should link up to inspired sunday with this at www.inspiredsundaymeme.blogspot.com/TexWisGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13641962051044162710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8001048458281112.post-53039242931244596542013-11-24T16:26:39.744-06:002013-11-24T16:26:39.744-06:00What a pretty church (the old one) but I agree wit...What a pretty church (the old one) but I agree with you on the new version. ugh.
