I'm up and about really well since the knee injury and broken foot.

Trouble is now I have a torn rotator cuff. 

An injury caused by the knee walker.

I'm going to try to keep my sense of humor!! Uh Huh

I'm back on my feet again. The boot came off last week. I was happy to see that go. 

Now I just have to get back into the blogging mood. 

I've been way too busy playing Casino slots on my IPad.

I think there needs to be an intervention!

Feeling Better

I took lots of pics of the snow from two weeks ago.

It's all gone now and a new batch in its place

These shots are no where near as sharp as I would like but I think they are pretty anyway.

They were shot with a cell phone by a crippled person using zoom. 

The idea was to capture the scene, not win a prize. 

The doves took over and at one point there were about six of them huddled up next to the patio door. 

Poor Cat!

She was completely beside herself with frustration.

She jumped at the window a few times then gave up.

Thinking... which one would I have bitten first?

The broken foot is mending. I still can't put pressure on it.

Hoping the doc will soon put me in a walking boot.

A Little Snow

We had a little snow storm last night, still snowing!

The feeders are almost empty and even if I had two feet

I would have to do some serious shoveling to get to them.

BTW... That mound has a mum under it. 

Last week this time it was 60 deg.

So, I do the best I can.

Birdies will have to get their little feet cold.

Where did the time go?

They are cheerful and that's what I need.

Sister is 50 miles away so comes on the weekend.

Others are helping the best they can. 

I'm learning some new tricks!!

Not to happy of a camper here

I took a very bad fall and broke my foot (bad)

This device is my only means of mobility

I'm supposed to put my knee where the cat is

to keep any weight off my foot. 

Trouble is I bruised my knee so badly in the fall that

that is pretty painful.
I am learning how to function as a one legged person but it is not easy. 

I'm really crabby.

Fortunately I can work remotely from home so that is a distraction.

Otherwise I'd go nuts.

I hope everyone is doing well.
