A Misty Morning

Through the windshield with a cell phone.

My point and shoot is shot.

This foggy mist was hovering in the shallows

I found it interesting enough to want to record it.

I'm not sure why this feed corn was not harvested 

but it makes for a very pretty picture

Got a feeling this is going to be here for awhile!

At least the sun is out.

Good Girl

I am Abby, sometimes mommy calls me Pie.

This is as far as I can go.

Mommy says:

"No paws on the counter"

"No nose in the food"

I still like to watch and be close to mommy,

and when she is not at home,

I put paws on the counter all I want.

Sometimes I roll on the cutting board too.

That is much better than nose in the food.

She can't see me so she can't say no.

Weather Report

This was taken a few minutes ago.

The good news is...

I took a snow day!

Working from home is much better on a day like this.

Not having to commute changes my entire outlook.

They'll have this mess cleaned up by tomorrow morning 

and it should start melting by Friday. 

I'm here snug with a hot cupa joe!

Some fun

I'm sure you are all sick of seeing snow, but

That's all there is folks.

I decided to look for what I like the best and then tweak to 

give it a bit more drama. 

I love animal prints in the snow.

I can imagine the creature on the other side of the hill.

Old Barn

I'm surrounded by barns in various states of age and repair.

I rarely photograph them and I'm sorry now because a few 

real beauties have been torn down.

When I was out a few weeks ago snow chasing I took this one 

of a barn no longer in use for the purpose it was built.

I'll bet the American Pickers would love to get in there.

Wouldn't this barn be cool in a movie as a dance hall

ala Patrick Swayze?
