This is my little deck for Autumn

Not much but nice to look out at.

I have more out front.

You'll notice the feeder is empty again.

That's because the Midwestern Pig-Snouted Sparrows

have done their job so well!

The Barn

Well... I found the road. It is not on the map.

There is a big sign that says "Private Property"

But it did not say...

"No Trespassing"

So in I went... do do do do 

( ♪Enter Halloween music ♫ )

Everything on this road was fenced and gated

There are three separate properties

all looking pretty affluent

and then this guy

I have no idea what this is... Buffalo? Bison? Big Cow?

I was finally brave enough to get up to the fence to take this shot.

It is not the ideal day for picture taking. Very overcast.

Here is the view from the opposite side of the original picture.

This is on a road I know but I never connected this barn with the original picture because of the shape.

In the original the silo is behind the barn giving it the unique shape that sparked my interest in the first place.

This shot was taken several weeks ago.

It is the view from the side of the road near my little subdivision.

A very pretty view no matter what time of year. 

For a long time I have been wondering where that little barn (in the middle) was because 

I have not seen it on the back roads that I know.

You must understand the roads in Lake County Illinois do not follow the grid pattern.

They are twisty and turny, go one direction then another.

Needless to say when I moved up here I got lost a lot.

Anyway...

I decided to find that barn.

I think I have discovered which little twisty road to take. 

Another lucky accident

I took this picture my usual way.

On the fly, cell phone sticking out the car window.

Of course it's blurry!

But the sky was so beautiful and the blur creates

a water color effect with no post processing.

Pretty enough to share, I think...
