I spent most of it outside.

This is a McDonalds museum in DesPlaines IL

It is one of the first McDonalds built in the area.

They restored it to be as originally built.

Sometimes they put old classic cars out front.

It's kinda cool.

I didn't take these pictures

but I thought I would post them to give you and idea

 of what it is like right now in this area without taking a photo of some poor souls damaged house. 

Those who are high and dry are doing their best to help those under water.

Spring

The only sign of spring here is some 

severe flooding.

So sorry for the folks under water, didn't have the 

heart to take a picture of their misfortune.

It actually snowed last night and it is still quite cold.

Fortunately, Im not on a river 

and high enough up the hill from the lake.

Life goes on!

Me and "Pie" are cuddled up warm and cozy.
