Feeling Better

I took lots of pics of the snow from two weeks ago.
It's all gone now and a new batch in its place

These shots are no where near as sharp as I would like but I think they are pretty anyway.
They were shot with a cell phone by a crippled person using zoom.
The idea was to capture the scene, not win a prize.

The doves took over and at one point there were about six of them huddled up next to the patio door.
Poor Cat!

She was completely beside herself with frustration.
She jumped at the window a few times then gave up.

Thinking... which one would I have bitten first?

The broken foot is mending. I still can't put pressure on it.
Hoping the doc will soon put me in a walking boot.

Take Care

  2. Oh I will agree with you and hope that the doc will give you a walking boot. Your mourning dove and kitty antics must help to keep you amused. Keep healing!

  3. Oh my!!!! I laugh at kitties dreaming of murderizing birds. That look says it all:) It looks beautiful over there. I can't wait to go home in a couple weeks. I'm hoping that stuff will still be on the ground. As for the walking boot....because I've had one myself.....be glad it's winter and not summer. I hate the twinge of pain that happens from the pressure....or worse, the sleeping! Be careful outside once you get that boot. No slipping is allowed this holiday season:) Just think....once the bone is mended it will be indestructible! Or so I've been told:)

I like mourning doves - they seem kind and gentle. : )

  6. The pix are lovely and your words made me feel better about my photos this morning! I caught a busy woodpecker storing nuts (post later), through the not really clean window, and am disappointed they are not sharper - but they are a lovely memory of how hard a bird works to eat. Your kitty is adorable. Glad you are coming along - just be very careful, healing takes time always.

    Hugs - Mary
