I needed to find something in the archive that was cheerful.

Today was the gloomiest, oomiest day of the winter.

So dark and somber even though it was over 60 degrees.

The rain is pouring down in sheets.

I am going to cook some comfort food and curl up to read.

Snow

I've been complaining about the lack of snow.

Maybe I should stop that.

This is an old pic that reminded me of just how much fun it is to commute in snow.

The thing is... I will be going to Florida next week

and it is always so much more fun to go to a sunny place when the weather is totally rotten here. 

BTW... the above picture was take a few years ago in February so we are not out of the woods yet.

I have a simple home

I try to keep it easy to maintain because I have

a very high pressure job.

If I had time, I could definitely be crafty, but

I don't have time.

I found this wonderful fun picture frame at Pier One.

Not sure if I am going to put a recipe in it or a picture.

Zihauntenejo

A short bus ride over the mountain from Ixtapa is

the city of Zihauntenejo

 

What I like about this place is it is a real Mexican small city.

None of the glitzy, manicured, designed for North Americans from the USA kind of place.

 

Shopping is fun fun fun.

 

The people are friendly and inviting

 

There are definately points of interest

 

And the flavor is pure Mexico

 

I look forward to a second visit.

 

 

 



Total Cuteness

My little kitty never ceases to entertain me.

 

 

While stripping the bed I dropped the quilt on the floor next to the window and close to the heat vent.

 

By the time I got back after putting the sheets in the washer.

Abby had rearranged the quilt and curtain for a perfect

heat vent snuggy session.

 

She so loved her newly created bed that she stayed there for hours.

I didn't have the heart to disturb her pleasure.
