Warm Breezes
Here is a shot I took in Puerto Rico last month
As I look out my office window right now
I see more snow and the temps are in the single digits.
Heavy Sigh...
Good thing is... my kitty finally appears to be feeling better.
I have been quite worried.

Calm
I am not very fond of January
And I don't think much of February either.
This is the time of year I have to work hard to be cheerful,
friendly and upbeat.
Thus my absence.
I am not going to post Grumpy
and GRUMPY I am!!
This is what it looks like in my world
and... This is the extent of the activity in this house!
I can't wait for longer days and warmer temps!

Shadows
I picked some old and some new for this Challenge
This is a springtime view out the patio door.
Sometimes that eerie light hits the towers
and it looks like aliens landed.
(These photos deserve a click for full effect)
I cropped this a little bit on the left side and a tiny tiny tweak on the color temp. |
This is one of my favorite shots from last Feb.
I was so lucky to spot this scene.
I enhanced the shadows so the footprints would pop. |
And this shot was taken last month in Puerto Rico
I took it with the challenge in mind.
I love all the texture in this one.
If I knew how I would make the human shadow more transparent and get rid of the glare in the sand. |
I'm linking up here to Donna's Personal Photo Challenge
Stop and visit.

Awwwwwwww!
Had a little visitor this morning.
Abby was very interested.
The veggies keep freezing solid so I poured some seed on the deck
Poor little thing was really hungry.
Is that the cutest bunny or what?!

Ugg...
You see pictures of snow because that's all there is.
The temp right now is about 16 deg below zero and the
windchill is about -45
There is ice on the inside of every one of my double pane windows!
That can't be good.
The seal is broken on both panes of the patio door.
I see little ice stars inside the glass.
I still have birds on the feeder and I can see bunny prints.
Not sure how those critters survive this but glad they do.
Indiana is closed. Really... I have a friend stranded there.
I thank God about every ten minutes that my furnace is working.
I know many are going through the same thing.
Be smart
Be safe
Be warm!

Brrrrrrr
It's been brutal cold and we had 18" of snow this week.
Temps are supposed to fall even more and it is snowing again.
I'm making soup!
My little Pie has been under the weather this week so I haven't been much in the mood for positing anything.
I think she is on the mend now.
I'll get caught up.
