Color

Last week I shot up to Wisconsin and everything was sort of brown and blah.
I did find some color though.

I have a favorite area that I usually gravitate to near Burlington.
The narrow back roads never fail to show me something delightful

Today I a going to stay close to home at Grant Woods
The variety of trees there usually makes for nice Autumn photos.
This shot was taken there a few weeks ago.
Quite a contrast huh?

  4. Two gorgeous scenes and yes, quite a contrast. Whenever I see a carpet of waterlily pads I always think of Monet's paintings. Thanks for stopping by Jeanne, I have never heard of Paczki Day, new one to me and I enjoyed hearing about it :)

  5. The red leaves really stand out in that photo! I love the fall colors and wish they didn't fall so quickly.

  6. The corn field is so similar to the ones we have right here in Ontario.

  7. Beautiful, magical photos. Summer was once my favorite season. But now Fall has taken over first place in my heart. :)

  12. The tree looks nice against the dried corn. Still not much color here in north Alabama.

  15. Autumn colors always go by way too fast! Do you chase them south, too? We still have a few green leaves so I'll enjoy watching them change. By November, it'll definitely be over here.
