Round Lake

This lake is completely surrounded by houses.
Some very nice, some very shabby as is typical in these lake communities close to me.

The exception is this little stretch of lake shore that is put aside for a tiny park and canoe launch.
The parking lot is bigger than the open space with one picnic table.

They are all putting their boats in dry dock.
Alas, summer is over!

  13. Such a pretty picture. The boat docks are coming out of the lake down the way from me too.
Soon the lake will be frozen over and the fishermen will be ice fishing.
