The Barn

Not all the barns in the neighborhood are falling down.

I love these old country roads.
Keep in mind, I am 40 miles from a huge city.
Less that an hour from Chicago.
This is such a treat.
I love living up here.
I will never return to urban life!

  1. Nor should you:) Urban life is nice to visit but it's not so much fun to live in....I lived in the Bay area for 2 years and it was some of the worst times of my life. If I went back there today, it would be very different. It's a beautiful area but I was disgusted with the traffic and urban thinking. This Wisconsin boy prefers the isolation of the desert with a little city convenience in Tucson....warm skies and great Mexican food:)

  2. Where I grew up we had many scenes like yours, Jeanne. I loved living by the deep blue sea and the countryside. Thanks for the fond memories :)
