Even as a child I have always been attracted to
images of a curving path or road going over a hill
The unknown...
What's around the bend?
I suppose I am not the only one
Why else would great artists photograph and paint these scenes.
These images are of the Volo Bog
A favorite destination for Birders
and though I did hear many birds, and frogs, this day
I saw few...
My focus was the path.
This is a place of reflection for me.
The purest sounds of nature bring
comfort and clarity.
I love those boardwalks as well. Birds would be hard to see in the thick vegetation but walking through it all is part of the fun:) There are two similiar boardwalks that I've encountered....Woodland Dunes in Two Rivers and one down here in Arivaca.....and when I see them, I walk on them just like you did. Love the picture. Hope you're having a great Saturday!
ReplyDeleteRemember that teacup you liked so much?
DeleteIt was a gift so I asked the giver where she got it.

Lost as in Blogger lost it? I can still get there. Is there anything I can copy and send to you?
ReplyDeleteAsk Chris from Las Aventuras, he lost his blog a few months ago and was able to recover.
Anyway, glad to see you.
I am a fan of leading lines in a photograph too! I will have 3 photos with that theme (and autumn) for my photo challenge post on Saturday!
