I took this picture
a couple of years ago.
The Barn is on one of Wisconsin's Rustic Roads.
A couple of weeks ago I was up there again.
Looks like Mother Nature is taking her space back.
Slowly but surely, nail by nail board by board.
I'm glad you are documenting this - it once was an amazing barn, so many are going by the wayside the same way, it is a shame that America doesn't value its past as some countries do.
ReplyDeleteoh, how sad!
ReplyDeleteThis is sad. It was such a majestic barn at one time. Why must it fall down? I wish a little (or a lot) of human intervention for it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame! It must have been a real beauty in it's day.
ReplyDeleteLooks so scenic in the third photo ... it is sad as it was such beautiful old barn in a pretty area.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how long they stay standing in spite of the weather and such. This one's looking mighty tired though.
ReplyDeleteIts to bad that someone doesn't but it for the old barn wood.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got a few more photos. I hate to see these beautiful old barns falling down! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHow sad! Gosh, I bet it can tell a lot of stories!
ReplyDeleteLike all things......it's back to nature:)
ReplyDeleteThat's a shame...it's not that far gone to rescue.
