Had a visitor stop by out back
As usual I snapped this with the lens full out, no planning,
no tripod etc.
Fly by the seat of my pants!!
Well... You have to catch these shots when you can.
This is when I wish I had more time and patience for photo editing.
I love this bird.
He or she is keeping the varmint population down.
Although, Abby told me we have a mouse behind the stove.
I have a live trap set with peanut butter.
Missing everyone, will catch up later on my IPad.
Well here you are Jeanne .
ReplyDeleteGood to see you and your raptor :)
Beautiful bird and very nice photos too. Yours.
ReplyDeleteAt least he has his head! My hawk didn't because leaves obstructed it. You got him and that is what counts!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I'm laughing out loud. Vee, you crack me up!
DeleteOMG, these are great! What a beauty. Looks like your exposure is spot on, so you must have done exposure compensation with that bright sky. We love our neighborhood hawks. They nibble away on squirrels and mice. Probably rabbits too, but I don't want to think about that!
ReplyDeletethat's a beauty! i wonder what type it is!
ReplyDeleteMajestueux visiteur! jolies photos !
ReplyDeleteWhat spectacular shots!
ReplyDeleteAn awesome sight and pest control too, win win
ReplyDeleteIt's a beauty for sure. I just love the markings on these birds and how majestic they look.
ReplyDeleteHe's a handsome bird! Love his coloring. Great capture, Jeanne!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful bird. You did a great job of getting his picture just the way you did.
