Trees

 Looking up at the silhouette

Looking down at the reflection

Looking closer

All of these were taken today on auto.
I cropped a bit and adjusted the white balance on #2
#3 is all about texture so I made it black and white.
#1 I adjusted the highlights to bring out the clouds.

  2. Silhouettes, reflections, and texture - a triple play! I love them all. And each one is a reminder about the simple natural beauty that is all around us. We just have to look!

  5. Is that last tree developing a burl? I just learned about this at Judith's. The first photo is striking and my favorite.

    1. It is where a branch was cut off. I'm not sure it's a burl but I'm not an expert on that.

  9. Tree reflections can be just as nice to look at as the upward view. It looks like a big eye on the trunk of the last tree.
