A bit of Ireland

One of the prettiest places in Ireland (weather permitting) is the Dingle Peninsula.
These are some shots taken on my most recent trip.
Every time I look at these I want to go back!!

Cloudy and rainy is not uncommon, makes for lots of rainbows.

Speachless

Almost there, and...

The sun came out!
This vista is just stunning. A photo can't capture it.

Some whimsy in the town of Dingle

This was outside a small art shop

I think they are all Leprechaun's or Hobbits
The delightful colors they use!

  3. What a awesome trip that must have been, Jeanne. That vista shot is beyond stunning as are the others. Love those colorful hobbit houses.

Please share more of your journey to Ireland or anywhere else you've been.

  4. What a sweet village Dingle is surrounded by such beauty, they knew that they'd have to kick it up a notch to compete. Lovely post. I enjoyed my little journey to Ireland today.

  5. I've always wanted to drink there. Don't you get rain and drizzle in your area? Being along Lake Michigan that's all we ever had....cloudy skies. In fact, it's the one reason why I haven't gone there. I like the sun too much. But your pictures are beautiful and I do love Irish humor. Normally I shock people with things....but they actually shock me with their blunt and direct words:) I'm hungry for Shepard's pie:)
